How To
Contribute
The National
Skydiving Museum is in its initial capital fundraising
campaign. It seeks lead donors who will set the pace for the
general giving campaign which will follow. The National
Skydiving Museum has already raised more than $1.4 million
dollars, which includes a donation of land in excess of $1
million. Special commemorative opportunities are available at
this time for major donors.
Those wishing to
contribute money may do so in several ways:
Gifts of
cash. Send a check or money order payable to The National
Skydiving Museum. All donations will receive a letter of
appreciation which will provide the necessary information to satisfy
IRS requirements for tax exempt tax reporting. For major donations
eligible for special commemorative recognition, please contact the
Museum Administrator.
Gifts of
stocks. Gift and pledge commitments may be fulfilled
through electronic transfer of securities. This often provides a tax
advantage for donors.
Pledges.
For those wishing to give over time, pledges may be made and
fulfilled over a period of up to five years. Pledge cards and
further information can be obtained from the Museum Administrator.
Bequests.
Many former and active skydivers have included the National
Skydiving Museum in their estate plans. While this does not provide
immediate funding support for the construction of the Museum, it
does help later in the maintenance and operation of the Museum, as
well as building expansion and exhibit upgrades. For more
information, please contact the Museum Administrator.
